Pichilemu

Pichilemu is a flourishing coastal resort city with its own brand of cosmopolitan hippie chic, a country-beach mix of natural sophistication. It has always been at the forefront of the Chilean coast, establishing itself, today, as a regional landmark famous for its restaurants, cafés, home decor, and surf shop that bring this unique corner of the world to life.

The official “Chilean surf capital”, Pichilemu has become a key destination for surf around the globe. The main beach , Punta de Lobos, hosts the “BWT Punta de Lobos Ceremonial” an international championship where surfers ride the famous ´big waves´ of, at least, 23-feet-high and, in 2016, Pichilemu hosted the women’s world surfing championship, Maui and Sons Woman`s Pro.

The local design and architecture are notable for their signature sustainable and modern lines highlighting their use of natural wood. Boutique hotels and residencies alike take part in the development of the style, making Pichilemu a hub of cutting edge, and creative projects that place the environment at their center.
